Caleb Holt is the Captain of the fire brigade in Albany Georgia and he has only one rule for his men, "Never leave your partner behind".  While he is adamant in keeping this rule, it is entirely opposite on his married life.  His wife Catherine is about to leave him because they don't understand each other anymore.  It took only one heated argument and Catherine decided to leave Caleb for good.

Caleb realizing his mistakes and with his father's advice, he decided to take the 40-day test called, "The Love Dare."  It was difficult for Caleb to do the Love dare at first, but got used to it later on.  Meanwhile, Catherine thinking that her marriage will not work anymore, she decided to flirt with Dr. Gavin Keller. With the guidance of The Love Dare and because of his commitment to change and to Christ, Caleb was able to win Catherine back.

This movie was cheaply made but the story is very effective especially to those whose marriage is on the verge of destruction.  You can see how trust in Christ can solve any problems, difficult or easy. If we have issues in life, then we have to take an effort to give everything to Christ and he'll definitely lead our way.  All in all, the movie is good and is perfect for family.
